Components / Outcomes

Using Marine Spatial Planning (MSP), the legal and regulatory framework for the management of the marine and coastal zone in Benin is evaluated, analyzed and improved
Producing a State of the Marine Environment (SoME) report of Benin
Identifying two Ecologically or Biologically Significant Areas (EBSAs)
Ensuring governance, capacity building and communication

Partners

In addition to the Mami Wata implementing partners – GRID-Arendal and the Abidjan Convention (ABC) Secretariat – several collaborative institutions will play a key role in the project implementation. These include:
